Wow, just horrible. It never ceases to amaze me what people will do just to make a buck. I'm glad you finallly have the babies at home and they are being well cared for. Maybe you could post individual pics of each showing their profile of them standing naturally and of their face straight on showing the comb.

From what I can tell they are easter egger chicks. Poor little babies. That pet store sounds like a truly horrible place, not to mention easter eggers are very common and at a normal feed store cost about 5 dollars. Poor little dyed silkies
