All the younger birds are now outside, and free ranging during the day with the big girls. My house is now chirp free, and everyone is missing the sounds.

April is here so the chick order will be arriving soon, and the hatching egg order too.

The flock…they do make it hard to photograph… I did my best. Some birds are easier to photograph than others… lol. The little ones were in a jungle section. The big girls came over to the big run area to see what I was doing... spying on the two hens trying to lay eggs.

The RC RIR hatching eggs arrived today! :wee

I ordered from greershowpoultry2021 on eBay.

The eggs were very well packed, no cracked eggs. Eggs were shipped from Ohio to California. Eggs were marked as to breed as well. I am resting them pointy end down, fat end up. The Incubator we are using for these 6. We pulled two incubators out different brands (the second one is for the expected RC RIW hatching eggs). Hopefully incubation will go smoothly and I get at least 1 boy and 1 girl… all of the eggs hatching would be awesome but probably very unrealistic in my experience with mail order eggs. I can always hope and pray.
