Flight feather clipping day… everyone outside has had their feathers clipped. I clip their flight feathers because they can all fly and it is my responsibility to keep them on my property and not be a nuisance, especially since they free range my yard all day.

Well the flock is still doing okay. We’ve had some losses and gains in the flock. Currently all breeding ideas are on hold. I have to try some redesigning of my chicken yard and I have some new goals. Our most heart wrenching loss was Peepers passing from what appeared to be a heart condition. We’ve been super busy as a family. I will endeavor to post more often.
