back from the doc. she rocks. the shot, not so much.

chest xray was clear, and the breathing test almost made me pass out. He said that my bronchial stuff was spasming but basically it sounded like the gunk was out of my system. He gave me steroids and sent me on my way

So glad you both are back from the drs. Good news for Boyd but still waiting on results from Rhandi. Saying a prayer for you and your dh. Sure hope you get to feeling better

Eeeep! Stomach flu is no fun! Keep sippin' that gingerale, maybe a little Ginger tea if you can stand it. But more importantly stay up there with it! Verrrry long distance hug!

Oh, man. I feel for you. My kids are always passing stuff along to me. (A big thank you to the other parents who send their kids to school knowing that they are sick!) Hope you get to feelin' better soon.

<------------sassy.

oh yes, drinking lots of fluids. LOTS. me and the Vernors are one.

can i just say, the nurse promised the area where she gave me the shot would be incredibly sore and she is no liar. oh my. but at least i am not a puke master.

and yes, i agree, if your kid is sick keep them home. if they get sick, go get them and keep them home. we thought Elizabeth was just having sinus drainage and getting a stomach ache and sent her to school. i feel so bad. we sent her two days like that. she even though she just 'needed to get through it'. turned out she had a problem. so we kept her home even though she felt 'okay' in the afternoons. off to the doctor anyway. it's not worth whatever money you lose off your check or if they get behind. good germ warfare is important.

I hope you all get better soon. Here is a

for Elizabeth too. Sophie and I both have a nasty bug right now, too. I took supper to two families with brand-new babies last night (an hour away!), and got sick while we were at the second place. Jason had to get his boss to bring him down to get us! He left this morning at 7:16 and I prayed that the children would sleep for 2 more hours. At 9:16 Rylan and Olivia woke up!
