Back from the Hospital...The RESULTS!

I'm glad it's just Glaucoma and nothing bad enough that they'd remove your eye completely!!

P.S.- I guess there's always a bright side. Now you can get medical 'stuff', right? You'll have TONS of fun watching the chickens THEN!

I am so glad you have some answers! I know myself the hardest part is having the patience on waiting for the diagnosis. Your attitude is an inspiration to all!

Linda -

It sounds like a mixed blessing. At least you have (what I hope is) a correct diagnosis. Thanks for sharing it with us.

I've never dealt with glaucoma, however as a teeneager I was occasionally involved with what is thought to be a curative of Glaucoma.

You will continue to be in my prayers. Many of ours, I'm sure.

Stay strong, Leo.

Glad you got some answers, English Chick. Hope they are the right answers, and that the solution is smooth and flawlessly accomplished.

EC - I was just sitting here thinking - could they do like a Lasik type of surgery and implant a lens into your eye, while relieving the pressure of the glaucoma and removing the cataracts?

I had a friend that had this done - and it worked out beautifully. The implanted lens helped to correct the vision (where regular Lasik surgery wouldnt work) and by relieving the pressure without removing the actual eye itself or doing a full orbital decompression (remember, I have Graves eye disease, so I have alot of pressure behind my eyes and have had surgeries on them as well - including Lasik) - I'm wondering if you have this in the UK?

Ron ! ! ! Oh that's so bad. [mouth open, eyeballs wide]

We all have our past indescretions. Or are you the sole exception?

I certainly don't condone what I did. Had I to do it over again, I wouldn't.

I promise that I am a straight arrow now. Pure as the driven slush.
