Back yard rabbit group anyone?

My set up is not done yet-I recently got back in the rabbit biz. My dh built me a nice sheltered hutch that looks like a large 3 sided wood with space at the bottom for air flow. I can only fit about 9 24x24 cages stacked in it, and I'm presently looking for more of those used. I may have to break down and buy new though...

I pick up my bunny tomorrow! She is an English lop. The breeder is going to look for Satins at the Arizona show in February for me.

I had a bun a few years ago and can't wait to start a breeding program. I hope they do make a back yard rabbit site although Between that and BYC I would never leave the computer.

Ok here is some of my pics
This is big mama she is the first doe to have baby in my barn

Here is my small setup The 2 cages to the righ thave the loaned buck and my buck in it the other two on the left i have the 2 does that i will be breeding here in a week

This pick shows my other cages there is big mamas babys 2 bucks in the left green cage i got free becouse it was step on and the guy didnt want to fix it Then big mama in her messy cage got to get all that card board out that is what i used to keep the babys warmer and in the last cage is the 4 10 wk does i will be taking 2 out of there and putting in the loaned bucks cage when he leaves

Keep an eye out on craigslist....I have gotten a few cages that way.

We will be building a new home for our rabbits soon so I won't show you the set up now as it is a dome tent for the big rabbits and the little guys are in the laundry room.
