Backed up eggs?

So, something strange has happened with my 6month old Amber link. Yesterday evening I went out to check on my girls and I found her puffed up against the fence. I did a visual inspection and noticed her vent was popping out a bit so I picked her up to bring her inside, where the light is better. I took two steps and an egg fell out of her. I took her inside anyway to look her over when I set her on the table another egg fell out! Both eggs had very thin shells. Also, she laid a beautiful egg that morning. Three eggs in one day, I didn’t think that was possible. She is doing great now, I’m just wondering why and how this happened.

It was a hiccup most likely... hopefully it won't happen again as egg binding can be deadly within 48 hours.
