Welcome to Backyard Chickens! We are glad you joined the flock! BYC is a helpful site providing all of the information you need to know about poultry. There is always space for members on the BYC roost! Chickens can be perfect for any backyards, but with my personal experience goats can be very destructive and probably require even more than an acre which was the reason I sold mine. Their behavior was a little too far unacceptable as well. That might of been because they were pygmies though.

Hope you enjoy it here as much as we all do!

That's why I'm not planning on getting goats. I love them, but they are too smart and destructive for my yard. If I had acreage it'd be a different story, but my property isn't that big. It's a good size for some chooks though!
