p.s. I got my RN degree from Scott Community College in '93 (or '94?). Eastern Iowa is a beautiful chunk of land! But "Beware the Eagles"! We have one bald eagle in town, nearly landed on my house 2 months ago. You know how the bald eagles are, they congregate around the river like a crowd of teenagers scrounging for fish, its hard to tell if the eagles would catch and eat our chicken, or if it just thought "....oh is that little eagles congregating over there? What are they scrounging for? I'll bop down there to see what they're eating"...... at any rate, I'd hate to defend our backyard birds from the talons of one of those........so far, we get along pretty well. But Good Luck! It will be a GREAT learning opportunity!
