Just to introduce myself, I live in the Denver area, in a little oasis. I've just ordered our chicks, 7 different breeds! Looking for a colorful egg basket! Our birds are coming from Lucky Charm Farm, in Douglas Co, Colorado. They are a breeder of rare breeds. Next up is designing and building a coop.

Build a coop 3xs bigger than what you plan on, I built a coop to hold 25 when I only had six and only ever planned on six and within a year it was overflowing and I now have a second free range flock
