The backyard goat forum is such a great idea--One-stop browsing! I don't get to spend enough time on here but every time I do I learn something new! We're picking up two little girls (1 yr old pygmies) tomorrow afternoon and are so excited!! We spent the past month building a cute little shed and I feel like an expectant mother! I can't wait to tuck them in tomorrow night!

I belong to another goat forum & they are on pretty much all the time & answer you but what I find is that they act like a bunch of snobs like everything you do with your goat is wrong & you are DUMB! I hate getting into that forum because I am so afraid they are going to put me down for the way I did something. UGH! I am new to goats too so I need encouragement!

Bless your heart!!! What a bunch of snobs...and dang, how many WRONG things can a person do with a goat?! They sure would never starve as many things as they eat!!! The only thing we decided Spike should never eat again was hot dogs (meat) ...he gobbled up the dog's treats before she could get them and then he had the runs for a week, poor thing! He wasn't that greedy again!! We still have a tootsie roll shaped hole in my son's bedroom window screen from where he he would poke them through and Spike would stand against the house and eat them through the screen!! Don't give the goat snobs another thought!!!!

So is a husband less likely to bring out the divorce papers if you just up and bring home some cute lil goats without discussion, or if you talk them to death about it until they give in? Better yet would be a way to make him think it was HIS idea in the first place. Yes, I know how you men work.

I brought home a new goat two days ago and hubby came out to feed with me yesterday morning and saw the new goat. He stopped dead in his tracks and just stared at me. ROFL!!!!!! I was laughing so hard. He didn't think it was funny at all. This is what he looked like ----> And this was me-------->

I love him so much for putting up with me!!!!!!

The new goat was owed to me so he cost me nothing out of pocket. I love him (the new goat and my hubby)! I am so spoiled!
