BackYard Harvest

I got tons of green tomatoes on the vines, they grow like weeds in our soil. I gave up on the peppers. I also have lots of zuc's but they are to small to eat , i like them big , my pumpkins, gourd and squash are also getting there, they will be lovely in the fall. Next year i will have a bigger garden , i just have to find somebody or rent something to till the piece of land.
Very nice veggies i am jealous.
Oh Peeps, do i spot a tupperwae bowl? I think i have the same.

I'm with you on the tomatoes....they're but a far off hope at this point! I was so excited to try heirlooms, but maybe they'll kick in now while it's hot. I did have lots of snow peas though, and lettuce and arugala are thriving. Zucchini and beans coming along, garlic just about ready to harvest. My daily harvest is nothing like that gorgeous North Carolina basket of red goodness though. I too could smell 'em from here....let's hope it's a zone thing and in our near future!

Sigh, darn Connecticut summers....
Still eating sugar snap peas, harvested our first green beans finally, and ate more of our romaine lettuce and swiss chard. Thank goodness for the farm stand!

We had a terribly cold & wet spring here in WA State. I had to replant 75% of my garden. Then the chickens found the seedlings. It's starting to come back now but we won't have much until at LEAST another month. <sigh>

At least the lettuce & chard are doing well! Going to freeze chard for winter soups.
