LOL, I brought in the same stuff a couple days ago and thought about taking a picture, I was so proud. My basket isn't as pretty as yours, though!
Do you let your chickens in the garden? I love to work in the garden with my little flock around me.
Barrett those peas and spring onions sound great and Mahroni has a vegetable stand going in his yard, dang!! And when those eggs do start coming..you'll look one day and have 60 in your frig. wondering what the heck you are going to do with all of them!!!
wow looks nice and you know where they came from and whats in them
Funny you say that Farmer because no one was eating store bought tomatoes at all for weeks and weeks after that salmonella scare recently!!
Lucky..if my little hooligans got into my garden they would not leave one thing for me to pick!! Pigs!!! I give them handfuls of thoise cherry tomatoes though and they LOVE them!!! The cucumbers I have to cute open but them they will eat all the guts and seeds..not the outside skin though.

I know what you mean....it feels great to have produced your own food! Such a feeling of satisfaction and well-being.
Wonderful! We've been enjoying zuchinni and straight neck squash, cucumbers, peppers and a few tomatoes. The corn is in full tassel, everything is blooming and growing. I may have to take off work to pick peas, green beans and butterbeans. It looks like a flower garden out there.
What a beautiful harvest!! SO far we have only had 1 zuchinni (sp) 2 green peppers, and 1 cucumber. Oh and I forgot about the strawberry patch. I just can't wait for my fresh potatoes and tomatoes, green beans, and onions..... you get the picture!
