Bacon..Bacon...I hate Bacon

It taste like a salt shaker, and stinks the house up for hours, I am banning it from this house, anyone with me????(scrapple on the other hand, is the good stuff, but no one but me will eat it.)

If you "bake" it in the oven, it's not as messy nor does it cause as much bacon smell as frying it

I switched the kids to turkey bacon until I get some good hungarian bacon for the open fire.

Did someone mention BACON?.....I thought I heard someone say something about BACON.....Im pretty sure I heard someone say something about BACON?..........I would love some if you have some.....
Agree with another poster.....cook it in the oven on cooling racks inside large sheet pans at 400 degrees until its desired crispiness....much neater way to cook bacon plus you get to collect all the bacon grease afterwards so you can use it to make refried beans in the future

No surprise that I am outnumbered on this one.....I have to make it on the stove top, have tried the oven way and have to go get everyone out of bed. on the stove top they come downstairs on their own, guess the smell has a purpose. Limit in this house is once a week.

How timely! We rarely eat bacon anymore except when the home-grown tomatoes are ripe (I refuse to give up bacon and tomato sandwiches).
BUT, this morning I woke with the urge for a big brunch and took a pack of bacon out of the freezer.
I bake bacon here also!
