I have secretly suspected the idea for kids came from dealing with chickens...

Yes we had to remind her again yesterday, when we let her out she left her alone, and stayed away to eat on her own. If I need to remind her every day I shall lol. Now she is leery of me and heck to catch! Lol

It really needs to be about 4 days, not joking, and the carrier is great so you can move her from coop to run so all can see her and vice versa. Sometimes it takes a little while to get it through their little heads!

Your right, she is still at it, but a squirt in the butt with a squirt gun works awesome! She now stays back until the buffs eat then is allowed to eat the goodies. She is much much much better now. We shall see how long lol

Agreed. I put my girl in time out for a week but I removed her completely from the flock (she stayed in the garage). I snuck her in the coop at night about 11pm and put her on the roost with the other girls. She's been good ever since.

Poor thing whimpered every time I went into the garage to check on her...but it didn't work on me. She is a mean sonofagun.

will this work for mean roosters too, or will it just make them meaner? I have a rabbit cage i could set up in their run and put the mean rooster in there while they're all hanging out in the run. he seems to only be mean to the other rooster
