Sorry for your loss. I would look forward to a poodle head poppin in to the yard via a hole.It would be the last thing it does!
In the least I would have a water gun handy with some vinegar to discourage them from hanging at that fence area.

sorry this happened I would put up some hard ware cloth along the fence and some big rocks to stop them from digging can you put up a game camera to show that its their dogs if you can maybe their is something you can do.

I know its their dogs because we saw it and their dogs are always getting out and finding a way in my yard. I have had to return their dog out of my yard twice already. I have pictures and videos so I am going to court for the vet bills and the cost of the fencing since they dont want to take care of the problems their dogs have caused. This morning I found new dig marks and holes under the chain link fence and chicken wire. I put old telephone poles around the bottom but they are digging through those too. When the Humane society came out the lady said she didnt see how the dogs are doing it and going through the fence and the people next door only claimed one dog not three so they are hiding that they own three dogs. I also took pictures of the three dogs in their yard 30 mins later after the officer left. They dont care out here cause its just a chicken. BUT ITS NOT!! She was my pet

They kinda laughed when I said it was a poodle. I am a dog groomer and I know first hand how mean poodles can be or get. Even more so when they are not raised right and abused.

oh they go after my cats and the strays all the time. Iv had to rescue my cat out of the tree because their dogs chased it up there and wouldnt let it out. The kid that lives there makes them fight too. He grabs them by the necks and shakes them till they get ticked and lets them go and they start fighting. I reported this too and nothing was done. The kids is on probation, I know because I see one of those leg bracelet things to monitor him. I called the probation dept and nothing can be done because I dont know the kids name. what!

i'm sorry i have 5 dogs 3 doxies a boxer and a chihuahua 3 of who are rescues and my oldest doxie is the one we have to watch around the chickens because she wants to "play" with my chickens very badly she's tried to dig under the brooder box which is on a concrete floor but she's learning to control her instincts she can sit next to them but she'll just shake because she knows she's not supposed to bother them and it's going against her instincts it's going to be interesting when they get in their run to see how many times i have to get out the water hose my 3 yo doxie doesn't care and my almost 2 yo doxie just wants to play with them he's even been in the box with them and licked them and my boxer is just a big baby and doesn't really know what to think and my Chi has to be watched because he's sneaky. my doxies and boxer are my critter getters my boxer brought up a possum the other night and my doxies tree'ed a huge buck possum which my hubby took care of. I also agree that people see the type of dog and most don't understand what they were breed for. I hope you are able get them to pay your vet bills and for the fence repairs.
