Bad duck behavior question

So far I have 10 ducklings and I have mostly mallard....a few Cayuga and not a single welsh harlequin! Which is a bummer especially since he was on everything that moved just like the mallard. Saw lots of him mating. I’m wondering if he is sterile?

They will all be crosses if each breed wasn't separated in breeding pens.

I don’t know what they are both are sweeties tho

I'd say Nubian or Nubian crosses. You should join Backyard Herds. Sister site of BYC. Lots of great people there and lots of great information about goats.

Can you put all your males together? In one pen?
I have mallards and Cayuga s and a welsh, soon to
Have a Pekin drake also. Otherwise the welsh and mallard really bully the females. The Cayuga doesn’t bother them. I have a male and female Toulouse-the male goose is the boss of everybody but doesn’t stop the bullying.

Im wondering also that the chicks I got were only Cayuga and mallard. I got no welsh harlequins! Even tho he mounted everything he saw! So I had welsh,mallard andcayuga males and females mating all over the place ! Even tho I had a male and female welsh in the mix I got no chicks. Any ideas?

All you can do is try. Be sure to watch that the drakes don’t turn on each other or turn on just one.
