I am hatching orpington eggs for the first time, its hard to see through the shell. They are due to hatch this Saturday. A few are solid, you can't see through the shell at all but I can see the air sack. A few others I can see the air sack but 1/2 the egg is black and the other I can see light through. Do these sound bad?

I Would Not Toss Them Yet . I Personally Would Follow Through With Lockdown & The Hatch & See What Happens. If You Stop Them Now You Could Possibly Kill Any Chicks That Are In The Eggs

The ones you can see light through are bad. The dark ones could be ready to hatch.
