Yep, weve been married 17 years. Sure weve had our ups and downs, but it was never over something silly like, "dont tell dad". Our kids always knew when we were joking. The kids know when something is serious. Like eenie said, most kids are smart, much smarter than parents sometimes give them credit for.

We each know our limits with each other...... I have gotten 2 dogs, bought a couch, and then the incubator then the eggs .........

he just smiles. To be fair he has gotten himself a welder, chainsaws, snowthrowers, lawnmowers...... it all works out in the end.
