Okay, I need some help please, ASAP!! My little baby (less than a year) has a bad foot. I got a couple pictures of it. I cleaned her up, soaked in warm Epsom salt bath.. took a soft bristled tooth brush to the bottom of her foot to get the crud off and see if it was Bumblefoot(?) Well I dont think it is!
Its broken/ cracked all over the bottom. Swelled just above her ankle, you can see the "bloodline," I felt the temp and it is a little warmer than the other foot. Infection?? What do I do!?
Peroxide? Neosporin? Bag Balm? Clean wrap?
She is separated from the flock currently. I noticed her this morning (2-18-19) when I opened the coop door, she was closest and hobbled over to me faster than the others on her better foot. Please help!!

Welcome to BYC. It looks like frostbite to me as well on the bottoms of the feet. The one foot looks worse. Can you get pics of the tops of the feet as well. Is she walking on her feet? Do you know if she might have roosted on something metal, such as a garbage can lid in freezing weather? Getting feet wet by walking into a water bowl or a spill when temps are close to zero F can cause frostbite.

I would repeat the Epsom salts soak to feet 1-2 times a day. Vetericyn or Theracyn are good to spray on feet, as well as 2% chlorhexidene or weak betadine iodine. So sorry about your chicken.

They only have wood in the coop. Wood feeder, plastic waterer with a heat lamp on it so their coop is warm, and their water doesnt get cold. They have fresh bedding, soft pine shavings(chunky stuff)
