Well I'd definitely separate the Hens from the flock. I would cage her in a crate with food and water. The others here Peeps and will kill the Chicks. You can lift her and the eggs into a separate pen and she will continue to hatch. I do it.

Ok will the chicks just stay in the nesting box?I’d just leave the hens alone in their nesting boxes as long as they are staying on the eggs. Bothering them too much gets them highly frustrated. Separate all non-broody birds into a different coop (if you can) because I’m pretty sure they were the ones who went after the chick.
Oh that's tiny. You might need a bigger set up. I use those for just one Momma.Ok will the chicks just stay in the nesting box? View attachment 1780241
Thats a picture of my coop . I can close the door to the run and keep the broody hens and the babies in the coop. I would have to put a waterer and food in there. The rooster and the non broody hen can sleep in the run awhile. There is a bar up high to roost on but Ive never seen them do it.
I saw a picture of the coop. So if the nests inside the coop are already at ground level just close the door to keep rooster and non broods out. After all babies are hatched I would move them to ground level. At least until they can get up into it by following momma.
Its the largest ive seen for sale. The run is 4' x 8' and the roof is about 5' tall. I can move around inside and Im a 6' 250# man. Might be because i took the picture from up on my deck far away. I can probably crawl into the coop if I wanted to(which I dont lol). Let me get a picture of my nestsOh that's tiny. You might need a bigger set up. I use those for just one Momma.
