My african goose has been setting on a nest for about 2 weeks. She's built in a place thats just about impossible for me to reach - in a depression in the far corner underneath the chicken coop. Today I managed to get a couple of eggs from the nest when she was getting a drink - me pregnant and crawling under there with a net. It was a mess. One was leaking rotten and the other ones I couldn't see anything with my phone flashlight in the day time. I need to candle the whole mess but don't know how as she only gets off the nest for a couple of minutes in the evening. I can't take and replace the eggs at night like I can with a hen. Sugggestions?
