Bad news

Poor Gritsar,
You may end up having to use store bought eggs for awhile being your girls are getting the urge to hatch babies.
Told ya Jethro was in training by your meatie.

My anti-broody brahmas will keep us and our neighbors in eggs, so the little girls can enjoy themselves.

Well, my friend, all I can tell you is that if you have yet ANOTHER broody, you must invest in a gas mask, larger shovel and a barf bag for your DH.

Note to self-just made fun of an LEO-be VAWWWY careful when driving through Arkansas.

Hmmm, and I know what your car looks like. Think I'll write the description down in his little cop notebook for him.

All I can say is I want to see pictures when all the little fuzzy butts emerge......you are gonna have babies everywhere!

I would expect DH to be upset about more chickens, but he laughs every time I talk about it.

Well you won't get any sympathy here. I've got two ee's that lay green eggs and young'uns at that and one of them is sitting on eggs in the coop. It couldn't be one of the other older, who've already gone broody before, it has to be the EE! Ugh!

Such is life, at least your not writing about a fox in the hen house or some other really bad problem. Give her some eggs and hope for the best.

Love ya, really I do.
