Well I guess i missed what was happening. I am probably better off. I try so very hard to help others with thier problems. I refrain from posting on things when others look like they are taking care of the OP. I also refrain from posting when I think I will be more a problem than a help. There are many things to learn. I have been around animals in a medical sorta way for many years. Chickens are a special species to me in the last year and I am attempting to learn as much as i can about them. I did rescue work with my duaghter for a few years and saw things that no human should have to regarding animals. Animals have no voice and they suffer physically and emotionally. I have two large parrots and know that birds feel emotions and have physical pain and discomfort. Chickens are not an exception to this.

Being on a farm one learns to live with animal death. But, it does not have to be inhuman or cruel. Some can be saved and all it takes it effort on my part. Some, can not.

As with so many other things in life that I never have to experience ... thank you for resolving whatever the issue was before I got involved.

There are so many things we are kept from, sometimes by things we deem as 'bad' ... such as having a flat when you go to leave for work, only to discover on the news later that a fatal accident occurred on the road you would have taken at that time.

Admittedly that's an extreme example, but one none the less.

Everyone, adoptedbyachicken asked me a question about blocking the links to images / stuff like this.

We can't block stuff outright, and I was in such a hurry to remove the stuff I didn't look to see where the image was hosted. But, that gave me an idea...

We hope this never happens, and if it does that a moderator will delete it quick, but if you guys ever see stuff like this again, here's what you can do:

1) Notify the staff immediately (you already got this covered)
2) See if you can go to the user's profile and access their email address. They may have made it public and you can possibly contact the company (AOL, Yahoo, Gmail, etc) and have them track down / remove the person and content.
3) Right click on the image and see where the picture is being hosted / stored (e.g., photobucket, imageshack, flickr, etc). If the person is hosting the image at photobucket, flickr, etc. then you can contact the company to remove the user, content, and have the company try to track down the person.
