My 8 month old Buff Orp rooster has started grabbing his girls by the comb during mating. He also attacked my 3 year old last night. I'm thinking soup, does anyone have a better suggestion?

That's what I thought. He has such an attitude problem. He even attacks the wheel barrow and the lawnmower. Thanks.

WOW. Mine are petrified of the wheel barrow. They yell till the hens hide and than they hide.

Yup, freezer camp. You can't risk an injury. My roo went to stew camp after he attacked my daughter and left a big puncture in her arm. First and last time he ever did it. You can't risk your own safety, the safety of others who come in your yard or the health of your hens. An injury to their combs can be a real headache for the both of you.

Ha ha, not while they're in use. He just charges them while they're sitting there minding their own buisness.

He's still pretty young...you might try fried chicken or even BBQ.

No need to waste him on soup.

Mmmm BBQ chicken sounds good. You have my vote for that one.

Soup is a favorite around here, it's also an economic way to feed my 4 hungry kiddos. I'm hoping soup made from a real chicken (not a frankenchicken from the local grocery store) actually tastes like chicken instead of salty water.

You're gonna love the soup! You'll never want to have store-bought chicken ever again.
