Bad smell on day 20

So I just noticed this smell from my incubator. It’s not awful but when I lean over one of the vent holes I smell it. I’m on day 20 of my eggs hatching so I’m on lockdown with it. What can I do to check without opening the lid?

As mentioned above, rotten eggs sometimes look like they're "sweating"- little specks of clear or amber liquid appear on the surface of the egg. If you've got one of those, it's a sure thing to be the stinker. Open the incubator (a moment won't harm anything unless one has pipped) and use a Ziploc sandwich bag to GENTLY pick up the egg. Treat it like it's filled with nitroglycerin. Seal it and drop it in your outside trash.

There are two with wet spots but it looks like water but two of my eggs have pipped already

Hi, I'm on day 20, and noticed since this morning a bad smell. Followed your advice here, as I couldn't see anyone pipping yet I removed this egg with looks like water spots on it... Fingers crossed I didn't do bad by opening the incubator in lockdown and that it was the source of the smell.
