Ask, and ye shall receive! Literally! And I'm not real religious, but if somebody asks me for help, and I'm able, I HELP! Maybe your elderly neighbors have a son or grandson...they might just pick up the phone for you and make a call.....

Wish I were closer, my family would certainly come help..it was super windy here too last night but not THAT windy! Glad you didn't lose any of your chickies!

I live on the West end, right on the IL border, about 45 minutes from Lafayette, and about 15 minutes North on 41 from Attica. I just keep staring at the coop cause there's nothing I can do about it. I have the chickens in my kitchen. One girl even laid me an egg, they're so grateful to be rescued. Still can't catch the last hen though. And her tail has been ripped out. Don't know how damaged she is til we catch her. It looks like a lot of people here in town have wind damage. Something went through my neighbor's screened in sun porch, my kids told me. Very old couple, I hope her kids can help her rebuild it, she just lost her husband.

If your friends are close, I'd LOVE some help to flip it back. Fence is history though.

Its whipping out here....a few of my kennels got tossed around. I gotta move some birds inside I think. I got a silky with little ones that will have to go in. A few ducks that are still fuzzy. Its gonna be a crappy evening tryin to do chores in the wind and rain. Wish me luck.

Hoping the calf huts don't get blown out of the goat pen

There is a Cowboy Church in Hoopeston, ILL ... that looks like it's 20 miles or so from you???

I'll call them if you like? Someone is bound to be able to come out and flip that coop for ya!
