Mr Hunt

I know you dont know me but thru Backyard chickens i understand you went out of your way to help someone in Indiana with their runaway coop due to the recent storms. I want to say you are the type of person the world needs more of! A true modern day hero - and i nthe true thought of "pay it forward" I am hoping that all the good deeds you have done come back to you twice fold!
Thank you thank you thank you - God bless you!

Mystery and a couple of his ladies pacing the fence when they saw me coming. Just like they did before the coop flipped

And here is the steel rebar that now secures the back of the coop

The coop looks good, it's not moving again, and now all I need to do is get some plexiglass like I was planning to do before the storm to cut down on the wind for this winter. We'll be insulating their perch and adding some baskets with soft bedding too, in case the girls don't want to be up on the perch. Doesn't help that this whole situation seems to have thrust them into a surprise molt. So they're kinda naked right now too, lol. But they're happy to be back out in their coop, and I'm glad to have back out there too. Oh, and as an added surprise, see what my friend brought my older DD for her b-day?

Aren't they cute? The girls named them Grayson and Storm. Cute little boys. They'll go with our Call duck Charlotte, and next year we'll see about getting more Calls. It's been a good day overall.

Those are t-posts honey .. very handy little critters they are! I'm sooo glad it's safe and sound!

It is heart warming to know there is people like Mr Hunt out there. I am also very happy for Chicken China Mom and her "babies" BYC is really such a wonderful group to be a part of. Also Miss Robin tends to underestimate just how wonderful and caring she is too, so here is a big hug and pat on the back for oyu to dear
