Bad weather, more eggs!

So the British summer at end and winter approaching! Some how... I'm getting more eggs! It's been raining a couple if days now and I've had more eggs! Is this just a coincidence (I.e chickens just coming if age) or is this the norm in bad weather?

Yes this is so true, our hens have just stepped up and are laying again within 48 hrs of the weather changing !

Maybe they have nothing better to do. I know that my baking increases when the weather is bad. They can't bake cookies, so they're making eggs.

Hahaha! I'm glad I'm not the only chicken owner out there! Looks like I'm gona be baking alot over winter then! xxx
