Bagworms for chickens???

While cleaning the backyard we found a bunch of bagworms, my dad asked if chickens could eat them and I wasn’t sure so we burned them. Does anyone know if they can or not?

I can't see any reason not to let them try them from quick research. It's just a moth larva. Chickens eat all kinds of larva. If there is something undesirable after sampling... they will most likely avoid it, in my experience.
