Thanksgiving Carols - why not? Some years I send Thanksgiving cards instead of Christmas cards just to screw with people a little.

On a happy note I just got back from the store where I found what I believe are German cookies. "Chocolatier HACHEZ Erfrischende Orangen Taler". Translated to yummy orange mushy stuff inside a chocolate shell. I'm pretty sure they are not gluten free but, I'm eating them anyway.

Actually I bought them because the tube they are in looks like it will be perfect for making lotion bars. I got the "Coctail Mojito" one too but I like the orange better. I should have got one of every color. Field trip tomorrow.

I kind of expect this stuff of the big stores, the longer those Christmas things are out, the more money they can make. But what got me is some of the local radio channels, that normally start playing Christmas music the day after Thanksgiving, started in the beginning of November! They've never done this before. I refuse to listen to it, it's just too soon. I won't decorate till after Thanksgiving either. Don't think I'll be decorating much, since I am having surgery 5 days before Christmas (not the best timing, but wanted to avoid the disgusting deductable this time). I also saw someone with their Christmas lights up 2 weeks ago! Sheesh, I agree, each holiday deserves its own time. Noticed how they've moved up "Black Friday" shopping sales too? Its crazy!!

I like apple pie. My neighbor use to have an apple tree that I picked apples from and made pies, but that was many moons ago.
I have all week off starting now!!

I'll also get to play with pony! and bun bun. Oh and I need to find a home for some of my chickies. The surprise hatch ones. I do like them, just cuz they are my own chicken's babies, maybe I should just build another pen, ha ha, yea right

Oh, I've got to clean my house, and make room in my spare room. My sister is coming. That room has been a catch all for awhile now.
