Some Walmarts used ro carry minnows, you could buy that catfish stink bait, shad, and the powerbait stuff in those little containers. Oh, and why do we always stay up so late? [IMG]

I've heard you can use hackle or saddle feathers of chickens for bait...

The best bait is whatever they're hitting on at the moment. [IMG]

For cat? River or lake? What all's legal for bait in your state?

Water dogs have always caught my biggest it legal there for shrimp, crawdads, bluegill, old liver, stink bait, night crawlers, salmon eggs, hotdogs, corn, bread, cat & dog food?.....too many to list depending on what's legal in your state and what they're hitting on where you're fishing at.

Mix flour, water, and playdoh together (can't remember what the ratios are, sorry [IMG]) but it should come out as a doughy consistency and I am told it works well for catfish, but I don't have catfish near me so I caught sunnies with it. [IMG]

oh just remembered I also added a TEENY bit of garlic powder for scent.
