this girl is a week and a half



this one hatched this last Monday

I have another I haven't taken a picture of that came out looking like a golden sex link instead of a dark one she's a week old today
I'll get a picture of the 3 later today...
I have another due Sunday....the temp is cooler so my incubators cooled...she may be late

So cute!! Here is one of mine. She's about 8 weeks old. Baladi hen and Polish Rooster.

Oh, I totally will when they happen! The prospective parents are my avatar; I will be getting other mixes, though... hmm, maybe a 5-toed, double-combed, crested phoenix might be among them?

Anything crossed with a Phoenix will be gorgeous!

This one is a cross of Naked Neck (Salmon color) over a Birchen Old English Game Bantam /large fowl (unknown). So this one should quailify as a Baladi.

Here is another Baladi:
Daddy: a Silver Barred NN. His daddy was a Salmon NN and his mother was a Barred Crossbred hen.
Mom: a Black Crossbred hen. Her daddy was a Black Jersey Giant and her mom was a Red Duckwing Easter Egger/Production Red Cross. Being by a Ginger Red EE and out of a Production Red ( who is a cross from New Hampshire and Rhode Island Red).

Dad: Blue Cream Partridge Naked Neck. His daddy was A Blue Red Naked Neck and his mom was a either Blue Salmon or Blue Salmon Splash ( 4 sisters) Naked Neck who's were NN and EE crosses.

Mom: Silver Partridge Naked Neck ( lays a green egg). Her dad was a Salmon Naked Neck and her mom was a Gold with Black flecks Easter Egger.

Should qualify as EE are mixed chickens anyway.

Almost positive this one is a cockerel.

Unsure. I think it's a Pullet, we'll see.

Pullet. I think she'll be blue.

These three are full siblings. Genetically they are Naked Necks, but since both parents had huge bow ties none of them inherited the naked neck.

Dad: Blue Cream Partridge Naked Neck. His daddy was A Blue Red Naked Neck and his mom was a either Blue Salmon or Blue Salmon Splash ( 4 sisters) Naked Neck who's were NN and EE crosses.

Mom: Black Naked Neck. Her sure was a Black Jersey Giant. Her mama was a Blue Salmon Splash, green egger Crossbred, her daddy was a Blue Red Splash Easter Egger and her mama was a Buff Naked Neck.
