I love my guineas... I took a picture. And she flew into the chicken brooder. I had to find the guinea in the haystack. Chicken stack.

Broody at 4 weeks old. I don't think so. Thanks for trying. She has a brooder. Not an incubator. She is not a momma bird yet...sitting on a nest and hatching eggs yet. Just I have ten white guineas and two are brown when little they are getting their grey feathers. So they probably do pluck out their feathers a little.

Yeah I was trying to help. Hope she's not being bullied.

I can’t see much from the picture. Any chance you can have someone take a picture for you while you hold it? I know it’s hard to do both.

Bullied guineas will have head/neck injuries most of the time. Any missing feathers are typically from the back or tail. I’ve never seen a guinea lose chest feathers from others pulling them. I’d look for a different cause.
Of course only being 4wks old it could just look that way because new feathers are coming in. Looking back at pictures of my guineas around 4wks it looks like that’s the time that their juvenile feathers are filling out and they can have a space down the middle of there chest that just has baby down. So not really bald.

Could be scald from the brooder bedding. Is it kept very dry? If birds lay in their bedding the ammonia in the urate can cause scalding on the belly. I have seen it happen to a few of my cornish x near the end. Just a thought! Better pics would def help.

Three pictures. So many words to say. I will not say them all. Yes to answer the question it's dry bedding.
