bald chicken

I dont know if this is a problem or not. I have 6 Rhode Island Reds, all purchased at the same time/place. I have one hen that has not developed any comb or wattles? She acts normal, has no problem maintaine her place in the flock....is just bald. What causes this? Is this a problem?

lol....sorry for laughing, but one of our girls is bald....don't know the reason, we never have, she is happy, fits in with the others, eats and lays well, so we just accept her how she is....can't say the same for yours, but ours is really sweet, just bald lol....

same her, they havent started laying yet, but she is completely normal, eats fine, doesnt get picked on, just bald. Well glad to know she not alone and its nothing to worry about.

Yep seems that way, actually, I havn't know anyone else with a 'bald chicken' till I saw your thread...glad to know too that there is someone else with a bald gal...Mine is 3 years old...and yep still ok...
