Hello, I have a 6 to 7 year-old rhode Island red who I have isolated in my garage the last 48 hours. I have had other hens with sour crop and I was unsuccessful treating them. I did help her vomit two days ago and tried again yesterday, but she seems to have an empty crop now. prior to isolating her I did notice her slowing down over the week and refusing to eat. I have given her the Miconazole treatment orally twice. I am attaching a photo of what she looks like now -she seems better than the other birds who have had sour crop, but I just don’t see you eating or drinking. I have yogurt in there for her. I really would appreciate any advice cause I don’t want to lose her. Maybe I have misdiagnosed her?

I have given her the Miconazole treatment orally twice.
How is she doing?

I'd give a full course of Miconazole even if there's improvement. Give twice a day for a full 7 days.

See that she's drinking well and eating her normal feed (wet or dry). Bits of scrambled egg can be offered as interest and something good to eat.

Does she lay eggs? When was the last one?
Has she been dewormed?

Often a problem with the crop is just a symptom of an underlying condition.
The article below along with the comments are helpful when treating a crop problem.

I finally took her out of dog crate in garage after three nights and put her in backyard. While in the crate I never observed her eating OR drinking. As soon as I put her in backyard she drank and drank, (water with probiotic bird powder added). Then she walked to a quiet corner and has been sitting in the deep grass. I am keeping rest of flock in the Coop and run to give her peace and quiet. Her crop seems empty, I am glad I saw her drink, but very worried she still not eating. I only gave her two days treatment of the M-Zole, I read mixed reviews of using this medication for hens. I put a small dish with plain yogurt next to her, but she is not interested. I am wondering if I should put some regular feed near her? And she has not laid eggs in at least 2-3 weeks.
