Hi everyone, yesterday when I was performing the monthly inspection on my chickens, I found that one of my blue chickens, have a bald spot on bottom of chest, it looks completely clean, no pin feathers and crawling things that I could see, her vent and around it feathers looks clean and good. I also noticed a dropped on egg production. Any ideas? Attached images... Thanks in advance. We live in Texas, and our chickens are 7 months old, have being laying since February.

That doesn't appear to be the pattern of baldness that a broody gets when she is getting ready to sit on eggs. It's more likely from a rough roosting perch rubbing her feathers until they fall out. It may also be the roost is too small in diameter and she's forced to assume an unnatural position while trying to sleep.

Looks like you have two threads. It can get confusing when you have two, and others are trying to help. No biggie, I've done it to, but it may be helpful if you post the link to your other thread here, then report your first post in this thread asking for them to combined.
