Can anyone help ! I've kept five chickens for nearly two years now after malting only one has regained all its feathers and is back to normal ! Why have I still got bald chickens ?
They still lay everyday . This is my favourite she's called red I love her to bits she's so affectionate likes a cuddle and follows me round the garden with my Jack Russell . But why is she still

Are they sex links? I've never seen this . My sex links molted but all over , no patches ...

Also is it really molting if they're laying eggs ? Mine still layed , but much less

I guess there are no chicken dermatologists - her skin is so reddened, I would think allergy (to something) or skin disease. I would keep her covered up like that so she doesn't get sunburned on top of it. Wish I could be of help

I agree that the ER Forum is your best bet .. that does not looking like moulting to me.
