Try some boiled egg crushed up for extra protein. Mealworms are good in limited quantity because they are high in fat. If you keep her in a pen where she can see and hear the other quail, she won't be as lonely.

I have put her with her 2 best buddies. The male is with another 2. I'll rotate them daily to share the love.
Plus they can all see each other through the wire, which is driving the male a bit mad lol. He won't stop crowing for baldylocks

Also got loads of eggs and mealworm.

Quail grow their feathers back surprisingly quickly, and hopefully that 3 or so weeks will be enough time for the male to forget about her.
