Bammony gave me a Brower brooder

Let me know if you need any parts for it. The guy I bought it from said if anything didn't work he'd replace the parts for free. You're spoiled rotten. You know that right??

Thanks Bammony! You are awesome. This is my friend I got the brooder from (and borrowed the Sportsman from, and who hatched chicks for me, and gave me chicks, poults and a duckling, and whose husband helped me stack a mountain of wood.) THANK YOU!

BTW! Just to let ya'll know....Diesel and Geronimo are two of the biggest roosters I've ever seen! I just stood in aw looking at Geronimo. I was trying to figure our how to cram him into my bags and take him home but I decided it wouldn't work. Buster must be doing a whole lot right with his birds because those two roos are amazing! I'm very jealous!

Thanks Laura! I plan on getting some good pics of Geronimo tomorrow and weighing him (IF I can catch him). He has really come into his own the past few weeks and I was looking for a good pic of him in my photobucket and couldn't find one.

that's good to hear buster, hope it goes together easy. winter going to be busy in the hatch room?

Hopefully with these quail PC sent me. My chickens are on strike even with artificial light. But I can keep these quail warm and under lights if I can get some of these to hatch. I have a brooder and a pen for them and should be able to get quite a few going by spring if all goes well.

8 week old quail can endure very low temps with minimal drafts. My
13 adults did fine under 30 and the youngins are in the barn too under
a heat lamp. We only have 17 young ones remaining. A bunch got out
of the brooder and the turkeys thought they were appetizers.
