bananas... why not...?¿

i read somewhere right here that bananas are bad for chickens... but my birds love them... and i always have a bunch of bananas extra that my kids don't eat... i don't like them going bad all the time...



why is it bad..? what happens...¿

Bananas are fine, they love them. I have read that citrus is bad.

It's the peel that is bad for them. Not the actual bananas. Same with avocado from what I've read.

I just gave mine a few this morning. Maybe it's the peel part that's bad for them? I'm not sure but I always take the peel off first.
