He is so pretty!..... Excuse me..... Handsome!
I also had to google bandog. I have never heard of them before. He is stunning!

What a beautiful animal! Excuse my ignorance but, a bandog comes from a crossing of larger, "bully-type" breeds to create a certain type of dog. What is he a cross of then? Gorgeous dog

This is our 10th year of breeding, we are now 4 generations into our line and have not outcrossed to a "parent breed" in 4 years. We are strictly doing Bandog to Bandog breedings. While there are people out there only doing F1 crosses EACH time they do a breeding that is not establishing a line, that is simply producing scatterbred dogs. We have utililized Neapolitan, English & Bullmastiff blood in the past but have since culled (sterilized & placd in pet homes 2 of thm) most of what came from using Bullmastiff and have a limited amount of English blood still in our current dogs. We have not used any Cane Corso blood to date.

That is what I figured it might be at this at this point no F1 crosses. I should have said genetic makeup like the previous poster not cross. I find it very interesting. I agree, doing constant F1 crosses doesn't seem like a good idea for establishing the breed as an individual breed. Do you have a website?

Is the pit bull breed ever used? Thanks for answering my questions!

Well if that is how they are going to be then you should be happy you got him back, that does not sound like a home fit to handle such a large amount of dog.
He is a very pretty boy! I hope you find a nice home for the little "monster"...
