I picked up some banties at a farm store this week. Last night I noticed the frizzle had poop packed around his hind end, so I washed it with some warm water and returned him to the brooder. This morning his eyes were shut tight, so again, more warm water and returned him to the brooder.
The water has electrolytes and the feed antibiotics. I've dipped his beak for him in the water since he seems to have stopped drinking, and later I saw him pecking a bit at the feed.
All the other chicks seem fine and healthy. What can I do for him?
