Bantam Adventure

WEEK 2

These little chickies are growing up fast! Still not sure on the breed of 2 of them...but am feeling pretty confident that Frittata (chick 1) is a bantam EE. Any guesses yet on what breeds they are or gender?

Chick #1 - Frittata. Hoping it's a girl. The comb is still pretty flat.

Chick #2 - Still no idea what breed this one is. I'm also scared it's a boy. The comb is bigger than the other two, but still not red. Don't mind the red smear on the face...that's just watermelon juice...

Chick #3 - Slowest of all three to feather out. Also not sure what breed or color it will turn out to be...It's a little sweetie though.

WEEK 3

They are getting bigger and bigger!

Chick #1 - Frittatta - Still hope this little one is a girl. The comb is pretty flat and pale so far. I believe it might have been about a week old when I bought her, so it might be 4-5 weeks or so old.

Chick #2 - Pretty sure this one is a boy. :( With a comb that red so young, I'm pretty sure. Still not sure of the breed though.

Chick #3 - Still don't know if this is a boy or girl. The comb is pretty flat though, and pale.
