If your daughter's a fan of baby chicks, you could let Hazel rear a couple eggs, and replace stoopid. They used to be happy with each other. Even when the chest bumping etc happened and Stoopid won...they were ok, that's what is baffling me.![]()
I think my daughter would leave home if i got rid of her! Lol ..it may be a last resort though. Breeder i got her from would take her back if needed.
Thats what i thought may help. Should i wait til Hazel's broodiness is over?
My daughter was sad some of her roosters died, but then we got more baby chicks and she got over it pretty fast
Honestly, if she's being that aggressive, I'd either rehome her, or eat her.Hi all again.
Ok, so i put Stoopid in the dog cage for 2 nights...she managed to get past me when i changing her water.
So i thought I'd see how she'd do.
About half an hour after being out she was attacking Hazel!!
I've put Stoopid back in straight after, been another night now.
I feel so cruel, when i hear and see her jumping about wanting to get out!![]()

How long to you think i should keep her in??
I've put her right next to the run, so they can all still each other, then cover herover6just before bedtime.
Am i doing the right thing?
Thank you
