Bantam Brahma estimated size?

Hi there. I'm looking for some additions to my flock of Red & Black Sexlinks. They are a medium sized breed and I'd like to find others of similar size. I know that the Standard Brahma's are really big but how big are the bantams? I don't want tiny eggs.

I only have one- buff brahma bantam. She is bigger than my bantam cochin roos- and all of her eggs are infertile- I think they can't reach her, and she has a nice big fluffy butt. The eggs are barely smaller than the ones from my Orps & Reds. I would say they're like "medium" size grocery store eggs. Good choice for you I think.

Sounds just right then. I like the medium size breeds for my coop & run space.

I can't tell the difference in size or colour between my bantam buff brahma and silkie eggs.

Are Silkie eggs about medium sized?

They're larger than bantam polish eggs, much smaller than those laid by my large girls. I haven't used grocery eggs in years, so I really can't say.

If I am making a recipe such as a cake where the size of the eggs matters, I use more than the recipe calls for, but exactly how many is variable, depends on the specific eggs and the number called for. For one egg I usually substitute 2, for 2 I substutite 3, for 3 I use 4 or 5, for 4 I use 5 to 7, etc.
