Those close up pictures aren't mottling. It's just leakage. So are the white spots on your mixed cockerel. Mixing chickens will give you unexpected leakage.
Please leave her be... you’ve been trying to prove her wrong and tell her how wrong she is on almost everything for quite some time now. Just leave it be. It’ll be better in the long run. ;)
 
This thread isn't a genetic and breeding thread. It's just pet Bantams and chatting about them. Honestly I don't even know what breeds or colours I have in reality. I just know I love the birds I have so far. :wee

Sorry. I just don't appreciate wrong information being spread as fact.

Split motting appears as leakage sometimes, like for example, tiny spots on the back of a chickens head, or white marks on random feathers.
