Bantam chickens.. a friendly discussion about all pure and mixed breeds.

Anyone else notice with chickens that's all good till hell breaks loose in a flock and it can happen as quickly as turning on a light switch?
I'm not having anything going on thank the Lord but just wondering if anyone's experienced that?

I did mostly with Largefowl chickens... and quail... :th

Love the little bitty bantam babies. :love I hatched nothing but bantams this year, including my own Silkie mixes, but I also have two LF Easter-egger pullets that I bought to add to the brood because I wanted more blue / green eggers and I was sure all my hatchling EE mixes were cockerels... I was wrong, but at the time I was sure. :P This li'l stinker fooled me because she came out of the egg with a HUUUUGE comb. She's a Silkie x EE cross, but she definitely got her size from her Silkie side.

Holy cow, this just happened a few days ago here! Two of my OEGB cockerels just decided suddenly that they can't live together anymore. I had to separate them because they'd beaten themselves bloody! :th
