AAAAH, too many cute, beautiful birds to reply to!! :love :love

I love the feisty mix hen in that last shot, too! Gotta love that bantam attitude! :love Seems like a bantam thing to think you're a big chicken who can take on anyone. :gig Then you get two big-chickens-in-tiny-bodies and they've both got to prove to the other who's the bigger big-chicken-in-a-tiny-body. :p

'Course sometimes they just get feisty toward me, especially certain little redheaded Cochin bantams who are very protective of their nest even when they aren't broody... Can't you just hear the dinosaur scream she was making when I took this picture? :p

Great pictures :clap
My little Sebright is my oldest Hen and she is bossy at times. She isn't mean though. She challenges my younger Cochin Pullet and runs a tight ship. My Rooster usually gives her a tune-up when she gets too bossy..:gig

Haha, a tune-up! :gig Love it! My last remaining Sebright is getting up there (she was born either late fall 2010 or early spring 2011, I never got a straight answer on that) and has settled down as she's gotten older, but in her younger days she could have a lot of spit and vinegar when it came to teaching the younger, usually much larger hens a thing or two. :p
