Dottie (behind the white pullet) hatched September 17th and is the chick of speckles and silkie she is a Mille fleur/silver Mille fleur D’Uccle
(Sadly one day she disappeared and we think a hawk took her)

Peggy a Colombian Plymouth Rock pullet
She was broody for 6 months on and on after we got her!!!!

Peggy is super cute, too! Sounds like she'd fit right in here. My silkie-feathered Cochin bantams (and a couple of the smooths, too) were working on breaking her record earlier this fall. It felt like they were going to be broody forever, as long as it took them to break!

Of course, now they're all molting, but my two Silkie hens are brooding.

Finally, a thread that addresses my obsession with bantams! Does anyone else struggle with justifying more solely because "they're tiny?" :love You know it's a problem when you own too many bitsies to show all off in one post....or even five. :lol:
